Project Healing Waters Norcal uses fly fishing to provide physical and emotional rehabilitation of wounded, injured or disabled military veterans. Project Healing Waters was formed in 2005 at Walter Reed Hospital where they learned the huge healing impact of the art, science, sport, outdoors environment and comradery of fly fishing on veterans.

Funding is required to obtain equipment, materials, and to help fund fishing trips for the military veterans we serve. Our volunteers are local fly fishing club members. They help veterans learn fly tying, casting, rod building, fishing techniques and they lead fishing trips.
