Fishing Float Trip
For a more adventurous take on fishing, our guides can take you straight to the river! Premium scenic float trips are specifically designed for fishing or outdoor enthusiasts. Guides provide access to river sections that are remote and not pressured by regular anglers, for a private experience that can't be found anywhere else.
Many of our local rivers and waterways have sections that require special equipment and knowledge in order to navigate the various shoals and rapids. An exclusive gateway to miles of backcountry waters cut deep into the Appalachian Mountains provides the angler with a truly amazing fishing experience. Fly fishing and conventional gear are provided.

Gun Club
Since our Gun Club's inception in 1913, skeet and trap have been popular pastimes at America's Resort. Located atop Kate's Moutain, the Gun Club's current offerings include three combination trap and skeet fields and a 10-station sporting clays course. The sporting clays course was designed by Justin Jones and John Higgins of the British School of Shooting, and challenges shooters of all skill levels on a course that showcases the unique topography of the area. Each group of up to five shooters is provided with a Professional Trap Attendant to ensure that each shooter has a safe and enjoyable experience while shooting Trap, Skeet, or Sporting Clays at the Gun Club. From beginners to professional, all will relish a trip to The Gun Club, which has been a part of the resort's offerings almost from the start.
