The 1963 Sandeman Vintage Porto has a bewitching bouquet with mulberry, cloves, allspice and balsam that gently unfold in the glass. Expertly crafted with notes of dark fruit and a smooth finish, this vintage gem is one to savor!   The wine is dry, densely flavored, tasting mature, showing a good balance between young sweetness and age, with everything well integrated. Decanter Magazine scored it 96 points!   The value was determined from a average of online prices which ranged as high as $486 for this wine.

The House of Sandeman was founded in London in 1790 by George Sandeman, a young Scotsman from Perth who borrowed £300 to invest in a wine trading business with products from Porto and Jerez. More than 230 years later, an average of 21 bottles of Sandeman are bought every minute in more than 75 countries.  Its well known logo features a caped man known as "The Don" dressed in a Portuguese student's cape and a wide traditional Iberian type hat. Besides Port and Sherry wines, Sandeman also produces Brandy and Madeira wine.
